The cast

Meet the fish

Six fish from very different waters, sharing one tank and zero opinions in common.

Different waters. Same glass.

Some are saltwater, some are freshwater, and all of them have something to say about it. Together they watch the humans, debate whatever is on TV, and swim off on adventures that make no sense until the very last line.

Zulonda, a glowing aqua jellyfish in a blue knit beanie
The wellness oracle

Zulonda

A glowing jellyfish in a knit beanie who has a cleanse, a crystal or a breathing exercise for every crisis. Spiritually overdramatic, but beautiful. Half of what she says is nonsense. The other half is uncomfortably wise.

“The water is triangular.”
Fernando, a silver fish with red, white and blue markings
The skeptic from the river

Fernando

Freshwater born, freshwater proud. Fernando does not trust the TV, the humans, the ocean, or shrimp. He invokes Poseidon more than anyone has ever asked him to.

“I don't trust shrimp.”
Pearl, a pearlescent pink fish with silver hoop earrings
The one who says it out loud

Pearl

Glamorous, unbothered and allergic to nonsense. Pearl grew up in a dentist's office tank and has the composure of someone who has seen too many root canals. Her one-liners end arguments.

“Here he goes. Reef privilege.”
Chad, a blue parrotfish in a white football helmet
The theory guy

Chad

A parrotfish in a football helmet with a theory about everything: the delivery drivers, the weasels, the GPS hidden in a fly. He's usually wrong. Sometimes he's terrifyingly right.

“Then the cover-up is working.”
Salina, a mint and peach fish in round glasses
The one with the answers

Salina

Salina has read the research. All of it. She is the fish everyone turns to when a question comes up, and she is almost never stumped. Almost.

“Nobody asked about your river.”
Pierre, an iridescent fish in a navy beret
The visionary

Pierre

Part philosopher, part entrepreneur, fully committed to every idea he has. Pierre will launch a currency, pitch investors and say the truest thing in the room, then go right back to his pitch.

“…Neither is time.”
